About us
Meet Galit & Leah, we’re best friends from Sydney’s North Shore – we met at the school gates twelve years ago – now we can finish one another’s sentences. Between us, we’ve got six kids, four dogs, two husbands (bigger kids…) and we share a lifelong passion for all things interior design. We’ve also travelled off the beaten path – to Nepal, Vietnam and Bhutan – together too.

Purely for design inspiration – and some yoga – of course!

We’ve also got a wealth of realistic real-world experience – in design, building, project management, juggling budgets and business. We both studied hotel management and business at university. Galit’s a qualified chef and interior designer and Leah’s run her own fashion label business for years.

Just In Place is our dream business and combines every element of our professional and personal experience and passions to help you create a beautiful home that gives you get a buzz every time you walk in your front door.

Creating a space that reflects who you are and what you want, is realistic about budget but also won’t scrimp on style is who we are. We also know how to run our team of tried and tested tradies – on time and on budget – so you don’t have to.

We’re as passionate about your projects as we are our own – Galit’s still renovating her eclectic St Ives’ home and Leah’s just completed a cool country kitchen make over at her place (check out Our Projects on our website) – but we’re here to help you with your every design, building and renovation need.
